TRAVEL INFORMATION – HOW TO REACH ATHENS
Athens is served by Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH), the largest airport in Greece and the main gateway to the country. The airport is located about 33 km from the city center, with a travel time of 35–45 minutes by taxi or around 40 minutes by metro.
There are numerous daily flights to and from Athens from all major European cities, as well as direct connections to international hubs worldwide. Many low-cost airlines such as Ryanair, EasyJet, Wizz Air, Volotea, and others operate regular routes, offering excellent budget-friendly options in addition to full-service carriers.
